Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian citizen
• Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026):
  • Flying Branch: 20–24 years (up to 26 years with a valid Commercial Pilot License)
  • Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20–26 years
  • Candidates below 25 years must be unmarried
• Educational Qualification:
  • Flying Branch: Minimum 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and a three-year graduation degree or BE/B.Tech with at least 60% marks
  • Ground Duty (Technical): Minimum 50% marks in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and a four-year engineering/technology degree with at least 60% marks
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Three-year graduation degree with at least 60% marks or a postgraduate degree with 50% marks in specific disciplines
• Physical Standards:
  • Flying Branch: Minimum height 162.5 cm
  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): Male - 157.5 cm, Female - 152 cm
  • Additional physical tests include running 1.6 km in 10 minutes, 10 push-ups, and 3 chin-ups

4. Pay Application Fee: INR 550 (with GST) for AFCAT entry, payable via online methods (credit/debit card, net banking). No fee for NCC Special Entry
